Moving to a new city can be hard.  To help you get situated here, we've come up with a list of Philly favorites from our current members.


Places to live:

Love the urban life? Looking for a smaller walkable community? Want a quick commute or easy access to shops? Here's some neighborhoods we love and live in! Contact us for more specifics!


Abington - Cute suburban neighborhood north of the city. Abington Hospital is here, and it's close to Fox Chase Cancer Center.


Adrmore/Narberth/Wynnewood - just outside the city to the west, these small towns have great schools, trains into town, lots of great restaurants and shops, as well as great schools. Close to Lankenau and Bryn Mawr hospitals.


Center City - definitely the center of urban life! Jefferson, Wills Eye, Drexel, and some Penn programs are located here. Love Park, Penn's Landing, City Hall, and much more!

Chestnut Hill - charming with tons of shops, restaurants, coffee; Chestnut Hill Hospital it's easy access to the city by train.

Collingswood, NJ - cute suburb in New Jersey, easy to access Philly hospitals by train. 


Drexel Hill - Cute suburban neighborhood south of the city. Easily commutable to University City by car, not far from Mercy Philadelphia and Mercy Fitzpatrick, as well as Delaware Co Hospital.


East Falls - walkable, cute neighborhood with good access to many areas of the city. Close to the train into the city but also close to the beautiful Kelly Drive walking/running/biking trail and the Wissahickon Park.


Fishtown - Just north of Center City, this is a hip neighborhood with restaurants, bars, shops, great apartments, and is easily connected to other areas via public transportation. 


Manayunk - popular neighborhood for college students and young professionals.  Also close to the train and a great biking/running trail along the river. Bars, restaurants, coffee, shops. Close to many different programs and hospitals.


Roxborough - near Manayunk, also near the train, close to the Wissahickon Park. Roxborough Hospital and Chestnut Hill Hospital are close by!


University City - Home to the campuses of Penn and Drexel, University City has great restaurants, coffee shops, and cute older houses!
